Altar is a series of objects inspired by the symbolism of the altar. The goal here is to ritualize the living space through “artifact” objects. We have an altar on which several objects are arranged, such as a lamp, a catch-all tray, and a phone charger. The aim is to sanctify our everyday objects, especially the phone. The use of electronic elements, such as an induction charging system, reflects this fascination with the magical potential offered by new technologies.

These objects are crafted by reusing metal components from old ceiling fixtures, which define the shape of the altar and its artifacts. The objective is to retrieve remnants from ancient buildings in order to bring them back to life through this domestic ritual.
